René Mandri
Rene Mandri (born 20 January 1984 in Jõgeva) is an Estonian former professional road bicycle racer, who competed as a professional between 2006 and 2012, with the , and teams. He had a life-threatening crash in 2008 Giro d'Italia Stage 6. He has been working as cycling coach since 2014 and he is a recognized Sports Organisation Leader in Estonia with an IOC diploma. He created Cycling Tartu, a club to develop cycling in the Baltics. and was the U23 coach in Estonian Cyclists Union. He now works as a directeur sportif for UCI ProSeries, UCI ProTeam . He previously worked as a team manager for UCI Continental team . Jõgeva
Jõgeva is a small town in Estonia with a population of around 5000 people. It is the capital of Jõgeva Parish and Jõgeva County. History Jõgeva was first mentioned in 1599 as ''Jagiwa'' manor, being established only recently on the lands of the same named village by the orders of the Polish king. During the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, Polish reign in Estonia (1582–1622) it was part of Laiuse starostwo, which became Laiuse fief during Swedish Empire, Swedish rule (1622–1721). In 1756, Jõgeva manor became the property of Gotthard Johann von Manteuffel (1690–1763) and remained in the family of von Manteuffel until 1919 when it was nationalized by the government. In 1876, a railway station, named Laisholm after the manor, was established near the village of Jõgeva (). Baltic Chain Tour is a stage race for professional road bicycle racers organized as a part of the UCI Continental Circuits. Baltic Chain Tour was established to commemorate Baltic Way. Tour is conducted mainly in the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, however in 2013 Baltic Chain Tour, 2013 it started in Lahti, Finland. Tour de Bretagne Cycliste, also known as the Tour de Bretagne trophée des granitiers and formerly known as Ruban Granitier Breton, is an annual early season professional road bicycle racing, cycling stage race held in late April and early May in Brittany, France.
