René Llense
René Vincent Philippe Llense (14 July 1913 – 12 March 2014) was a French football goalkeeper, who played for FC Sète and AS Saint-Étienne during his club career. He was born in Collioure, Pyrénées-Orientales. He earned 11 caps for the France national football team from 1935 to 1939, and participated in the 1934 FIFA World Cup and the 1938 FIFA World Cup. He was their last surviving player to have participated in any of the pre-war World Cups. He turned 100 in July 2013 and died on 12 March 2014 from natural causes. Collioure
Collioure (; , ) is a commune in the southern French department of Pyrénées-Orientales. Geography The town of Collioure is on the Côte Vermeille (Vermilion Coast), in the canton of La Côte Vermeille and in the arrondissement of Céret. Toponymy Collioure is named ''Cotlliure'' in Catalan. History There is a record of the castle at "Castrum Caucoliberi" having been mentioned as early as 673, indicating that the settlement here was of strategic and commercial importance during the Visigoth ascendancy. Collioure used to be divided into two villages separated by the river Douy, the old town to the south named ''Port d'Avall'' (in French known as ''Le Faubourg'') and the upstream port, ''Port d'Amunt'' (in French known as ''Le Mouré''). Association sportive de Béziers Hérault (; ), often referred to by rugby media simply by its location of Béziers, is a French rugby union club currently playing in the second level of the country's professional rugby system, Pro D2. They earned their most recent promotion as the 2011 Fédérale 1 champions, but the club also won 11 Top 14 titles since its establishment in 1911. Béziers was a major force in French rugby throughout the 1970s and 1980s; however, at the end of 2004–05 season they were relegated to Pro D2. After some years playing in the French second division, they finished bottom of the table in 2008–09 and were relegated to amateur Fédérale 1, before returning to Pro D2 after their 2011 title.
