''Rental Family'' is an upcoming comedy-drama film directed by Hikari, who the screenplay with Stephen Blahut. It stars Brendan Fraser, Takehiro Hira, Mari Yamamoto, Shannon Gorman, and Akira Emoto. Mitsuyo Miyazaki, known as Hikari, is a Japanese writer, director and producer of film and television. She is best known for directing the film ''37 seconds,'' and three episodes of the Netflix series ''Beef''. Early life Originally from Osaka, Japan, Hikari moved to the United States at 17 years old to be a foreign exchange student in Utah. She then graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Theater Arts, Dance and Fine Arts from Southern Utah University in 1999, and in 2015 was honored with the school's Outstanding Alumnus Award. She moved to Los Angeles after graduating, and worked as an actor for several years. She graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Film and TV Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2011. Wrap, as used in the phrase "That's a wrap", has been used by directors since the early days of the film industry to signal the end of filming. Since the 1920s, filmmakers have been using this phrase when principal photography is concluded and the film is ready to go into post-production. At that point, it is traditional to hold a wrap party for the cast and crew of the film. This marks the end of the actors' collaboration with each other, the director, producer, and crew on the film (except for possible dubbing or pick-ups).
