Rene Lehtinen (born 27 March 1985) is a former motorcycle speedway rider, who was a member of Finland team at 2007 Speedway World Cup. Career Lehtinen competed in three World longtrack Grand Prix series in 2009, 2011 and 2012]. In 2007, he won the Finland Long Track championship and Nordic Long Track championship. Karlstad Speedway is a motorcycle speedway club from Karlstad in Sweden. Stadium The city's stadium is the Kalvholmen Motorstadion, a 297-metre track, which is located in the southern Lamberget region of Karlstad. History Solkatterna The city's first speedway club was Solkatterna (the Sun Cats) which was founded in 1967 and first raced in the Swedish Speedway Team Championship during the 1967 Swedish speedway season in division 3 west. After a decade of racing in the third tier of Swedish speedway, the team's first honours came during the 1976 Swedish speedway season when they won the third division south. However, they failed to gain promotion after being beaten in the promotion play off, despite the best efforts of Lars Ericsson. Eenrum
Eenrum (; ) is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is located in the municipality of Het Hogeland, 17 km northwest of the city of Groningen. Eenrum was a separate municipality until 1990, then it was merged with Ulrum, Kloosterburen and Leens. History Eenrum is a ''terp'' (artificial mount) village dating from the Middle Ages. The village was first mentioned in the 10th or 11th century as De Arnarion. The origin of the name is unknown. The church dates from the late 13th century. It had established a local government in 1798, but officially became a municipality in 1808. The local council used to meet in the village pub until 1881 when it was no longer allowed to meet in a public place which served alcohol. It was decided to build a town hall. Noordwolde, Friesland
Noordwolde (; ) is a village in Weststellingwerf in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. It had a population of around 3,600 as of 2017. , the settlement to the south of Noordwolde is considered a separate village. There is a restored windmill in the village, ''Windlust''. The National Museum of Weaving is located in the village. There is a natural lake, the Spokedam, which is partly surrounded by a beach, on the outskirts of Noordwolde. There are several camp sites near the lake such as "Hanestede" and the bungalow park "The Bosmeer". There is a swimming pool beside the Spokedam. Staphorst
Staphorst () is a municipality and a town in the eastern Netherlands. History The villages of Staphorst and its southern neighbour Rouveen came into existence as in the 13th century monks started to bring the bogs and swamps into culture. All the farms were built along the long road through the bog area. Thus a lengthy row of farms was built, becoming the long village of Staphorst-Rouveen. This phenomenon is called in Dutch: ''lintbebouwing'' (Ribbon development, ribbon urbanization). Stadskanaal
Stadskanaal () is a town and municipality with a population of 32,715 in the province of Groningen in the northeast of the Netherlands. It was named after the canal Stadskanaal. From 1800 until 1900 this area was ideal for its peat mining, and so the canal came to ship all the peat to Groningen, the capital of the province. In the Gronings dialect the town is called "Knoal" and the locals are called "Knoalsters". Gorredijk
Gorredijk () is the largest town in the municipality of Opsterland, in the Dutch province of Friesland. Gorredijk had a population of 7,360 in 2019. The hamlets of Easterein and Kortezwaag are also part of the town. The latter was an independent village until 1962. Gorredijk and Kortezwaag then formed a double village as Gorredijk-Kortezwaag, but after a few years it was decided to shorten this to Gorredijk, so the older Kortezwaag became a neighborhood of Gorredijk in 1969. History The runs through the center of Gorredijk. The town is a so-called ''vlecke'' that was created by peat extraction. In the past, Gorredijk was mainly the place where goods were imported, stored and traded. A great amount of peat passed through Gorredijk, especially from the area behind Tijnje. Siddeburen (; or ) is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is located in the municipality of Midden-Groningen, about 10 km southwest of Delfzijl. Scheeßel
Scheeßel (; Northern Low Saxon: ''Scheeßl'') is a municipality in the district of Rotenburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the river Wümme, approx. 10 km northeast of Rotenburg, 45 km east of Bremen, and 70 km southwest of Hamburg. Scheeßel belonged to the Prince-Bishopric of Verden, established in 1180. In 1648 the Prince-Bishopric was transformed into the Principality of Verden, which was first ruled in personal union by the Swedish Crown – interrupted by a Danish occupation (1712 to 1715) – and from 1715 on by the Hanoverian Crown. The Kingdom of Hanover incorporated the Principality in a real union and the Princely territory, including Scheeßel, became part of the new Stade Region, established in 1823.
