''Rendu Pondatti Kaavalkaaran'' () is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by Relangi Narasimha Rao. The film stars Anand Babu in a dual role, Rohini, Vaidehi and Devipriya. It is a remake of the director's own Telugu film '' Iddaru Pellala Muddula Police''. The film was released on 7 February 1992. Plot Krishnan is an honest police constable who has two wives Rukmini and Satyabhama. However, his two wives hate each other. Krishnan is transferred to another city because of his honesty and the fact that he often refuses to do his superiors drudgery. In the past, Krishnan married Rukmini who thought that he was a Sub-inspector of police. When she realised what his real job was, she left him. In the meantime, Krishnan and his neighbour Satyabhama fell in love and had sexual intercourse. Then Satyabhama begged Rukmini to help her and Satyabhama married Krishnan. Relangi Narasimha Rao (born 30 September 1951) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who predominantly works in Cinema of Andhra Pradesh, Telugu cinema. Omakuchi Narasimhan
Narasimhan (c. 1936 - 12 March 2009), popularly known as Omakuchi, was an Indian stage and film actor. He acted in over 1,500 films in 14 Indian languages, predominantly in Tamil. In Telugu, he was credited as Juttu Narasimham. Early life Born in Kumbakonam in 1936, Narasimhan made his debut in the 1953 movie '' Avvaiyar''. However, following his debut, Narasimhan did not act in any film until 1980 in order to concentrate on studies. Career On completion of his graduation, Narasimhan worked for the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) for some time before re-entering the Tamil movie industry with '' Gowri Kalyanam''. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as '' Ponniyin Selvan'' and '' Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Singer Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, guru of M S Subbulakshmi, and music critic S V Seshadri were also involved with the magazine in its coverage of music. Kalki Krishnamurthy also edited the magazine, which is published on a weekly basis. During his term the magazine was much more respected due to its quality. Minmini (born P. J. Rosily; 12 August 1970) is a South Indian film playback singer. She is best remembered for the song "Chinna Chinna Aasai" from '' Roja'', the debut work of film composer A. R. Rahman, which was dubbed in Hindi as "Choti Si Asha". Most of her songs are in Tamil, most of them composed by Ilaiyaraaja and A. R. Rahman.
