Renault Kardian
The Renault Kardian is a subcompact crossover SUV (B-segment) produced by Renault since 2023. The vehicle is based on the third-generation Dacia Sandero, and mainly sold in Latin America, South Africa and Ukraine (East Europe). Overview The Kardian is built on a new iteration of the CMF architecture, called RMP (Renault Modular Platform). It shares some parts with the third generation Dacia Sandero, and the dashboard with the Renault Taliant. It is manufactured in Curitiba, Brazil for the South American market, and in Casablanca, Morocco for North African, Middle Eastern and Ukrainian markets. Straight-three Engine
A straight-three engine (also called an inline-triple or inline-three) is a three-cylinder piston engine where cylinders are arranged in a line along a common crankshaft. The Common Module Family (CMF) is a modular architecture concept jointly developed by car manufacturers Nissan and Renault through their Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance partnership. The concept covers a wide range of vehicle platforms. Main features CMF is aimed at reducing manufacturing costs and competing with similar previous concepts as Volkswagen Group's MQB.
