Renault 4Ever Trophy
The Renault 4Ever Trophy is a planned battery electric vehicle manufactured by Renault that will be sold starting in 2025. It is a crossover utility vehicle based on the same CMF-B EV platform as the Renault 5 EV and takes its name and inspiration from the Renault 4 hatchback that was produced from 1961 to 1994. The prototype was revealed as a concept during the 2022 Paris Motor Show on 17 October 2022. Douai Renault Factory
The Douai Renault factory is a car plant belonging to the Renault Group, opened in 1970 at Douai in the industrial basin of the Nord department, not far from Lille (Rijsel). History Construction of the plant received a go-ahead in 1968, with a formal announcement of the project coming a year later. Douai was chosen because it was well located at the heart of the industrial centre of gravity of the EEC with excellent road links to major industry and population centres. It was also in an area with a large pool of available workers, due to the running down of coal mining in the area. 4L Trophy
The 4L Trophy is a yearly humanitarian rally across the Moroccan desert. Established in 1997 upon the initiative of Jean-Jacques Rey, it is organised by Desertours in a partnership with ESC Rennes School of Business. The rally can only be joined by students with Renault 4 cars. Its objective is to provide children with school supplies. Its thousands of participants deliver about 80 tons of school furniture in Morocco after driving 6,000 km (3,728 mi) from departure sites in Bordeaux and Paris. 2017 marked the 20th anniversary of the 4L Trophy, counting 2,900 participants from 15 countries. Renault Twizy
The Renault Twizy is a two-seat electric microcar designed and marketed by Renault. It is classified in Europe as either a light or heavy quadricycle depending on the output power, which is either for the 45 model or for the 80 model, both names reflecting its top speed in km/h. Originally manufactured in Valladolid, Spain, production was moved to Busan in South Korea in March 2019 to meet increased demand in Asia. The Twizy debuted as a concept car at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and was designed by Françoise Leboinne and Luciano Bove. Maubeuge Construction Automobile (; MCA) is a subsidiary of the French car manufacturer Renault created in 1980 to operate the light commercial vehicle plant located at Maubeuge. The company traces its origins back to a Chausson factory established in 1969. History In 1969, the Société des Usines Chausson established operations in Maubeuge.
