Renate Jansen
Renate Jansen (born 7 December 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Eredivisie club Twente and the Netherlands national team. Club career Her career started at youth teams of SV Abbenes in her native Abbenes. In 2005, she started to play in the B1 (boys team) of VV Kagia in Lisserbroek. In 2007 she left the club and joined Ter Leede, later joining HvA. In the summer of 2008 she signed with ADO Den Haag of the Eredivisie. In the 2011–12 season she won the double (League and Cup) with the club. Some changes were made in the 2012–13 season, a new league (BeNe League) with clubs from Belgium and the Netherlands was created replacing the national leagues of both countries. In the same season she scored on her UEFA Women's Champions League debut match against Rossiyanka. Abbenes is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, and is situated about southwest of Hoofddorp Hoofddorp (; ) is the main town of the Haarlemmermeer municipality in the province of North Holland in the Netherlands. BeNe League
The BeNe League was the highest women's football league in Belgium and the Netherlands. To increase competitiveness in their national leagues, the BeNe League was a joint cooperation between the Royal Belgian Football Association and the Royal Dutch Football Association. Its first season was played in 2012–13 following the successful cooperation with the one match BeNe Super Cup, that paired both countries' national champions. The competition qualified the highest-placed Belgian and Dutch teams to the UEFA Women's Champions League. The Sparta Stadion, nicknamed Het Kasteel () is a football stadium in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It is the home ground of Sparta Rotterdam. It has a capacity of 11,026. History and layout The stadium is located in the neighbourhood of Spangen, where it was built in 1916 as ''Stadion Spangen'' based on a plan of the architects J.H. de Roos and W.F. Overeynder. The name "Het Kasteel" (The Castle) is derived from the small building with two small towers which backs onto the south-facing tribune (Kasteel Stand) of the stadium, which looks similar to a castle. This building is the only authentical remain of the original design. It was built in 1916. The 2017 Algarve Cup was the 24th edition of the Algarve Cup, an invitational women's football tournament held annually in Portugal. It took place from 1 to 8 March. 2015–16 Eredivisie (women)
The 2015–16 Eredivisie Vrouwen was the sixth season of the Netherlands women's professional football league, and the first season since 2011–12. The Eredivisie returned after a three-season period, when it was replaced by the BeNe League, which involved teams from the Netherlands and Belgium. BeNe Super Cup
The BeNe Super Cup was a women's football competition between the holders of the Dutch Vrouwen Eredivisie and the Belgian Women's First Division. It was played two times. Its inaugural edition took place on 30 August 2011 in Venlo, Netherlands and confronted Standard Liège and FC Twente. Standard won 4-1. The competition was a first step towards the joint BeNe League that gathered the top eight teams from each country and was started in the 2012–13 season. It has not been held since.
