Renata Ohanesian
Renata Ohanesian or Oganesian ( uk, Рената Оганесян, born 2 March 2001) is a Ukrainian pair skater. With former partner Mark Bardei, she has won three ISU Junior Grand Prix medals, including gold at 2015 JGP Latvia, and two Ukrainian senior national titles. Career Ohanesian began skating in 2004. She and Mark Bardei made their international debut in March 2012 at the International Challenge Cup, placing fifth in junior pairs. 2014–2015 season In the 2014–15 season, Ohanesian/Bardei won the junior gold medal at the Lombardia Trophy in September 2014. The following week, they competed at their first ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) assignment, placing second in the short program, eighth in the free skate, and fifth overall at the event in Tallinn, Estonia. Anastasia Artyomovna Poluianova (russian: Анастасия Артёмовна Полуянова, born 10 July 2001) is a Russian retired pair skater. With her skating partner, Dmitry Sopot, she is the 2017 CS Tallinn Trophy bronze medalist and has won two medals on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series. She qualified for the 2015–16 JGP Final with her previous partner, Stepan Korotkov. Career Poluianova began learning to skate in 2006. She trained as a single skater in Perm. Partnership with Korotkov Poluianova and Stepan Korotkov began competing together in 2012. Short Program (figure Skating)
The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior singles and pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Vocal music with lyrics is allowed for all disciplines since the 2014-2015 season. The short program for single skaters and for pair skaters consists of seven required elements, and there are six required elements for synchronized skaters. The 2017 European Figure Skating Championships were held 25–29 January 2017 in Ostrava, Czech Republic. 2016–17 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2016–17 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 20th season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2016–17 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters competed for medals in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points. The top six skaters or teams from each discipline met at the 2016–17 Junior Grand Prix Final, which was held together with the senior final. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change yearly.
