Remy Zaken (born May 9, 1989) is an American stage and television actress best known for being one of the youngest cast members in the Original Broadway theatre, Broadway production of ''Spring Awakening (musical), Spring Awakening'' at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, playing the role of Thea. Zaken received a Bachelor of Arts, BA in psychology from Columbia University, after having deferred for a year in order to perform in ''Spring Awakening''. Career Zaken was born in Norwalk, Connecticut to a Jewish family. She has acted professionally since she was ten years old. She performed in the Original Broadway production of ''Spring Awakening (musical), Spring Awakening'' as Thea from December 10, 2006, until January 18, 2009. Norwalk is a city in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States.
