Remy Palma
Mary Remy Joy Palma (born September 8, 1995) is a Filipino volleyball player. She played for the FEU Lady Tamaraws volleyball, FEU Lady Tamaraws in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, UAAP women's volleyball tournaments. She is currently playing for the Petro Gazz Angels in the Premier Volleyball League. Personal life Palma studied BS Psychology at Far Eastern University. Career Palma played for the FEU Lady Tamaraws volleyball, FEU Lady Tamaraws in the UAAP as a middle blocker. She played her last playing year with the Lady Tamaraws in the UAAP Season 79 volleyball tournaments. Passi, officially known as the City of Passi (; ; ), is a component city in the province of Iloilo, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 88,873 people. Passi is the only component city in the province of Iloilo, and ranks as the largest in terms of land area and income, and second only to Oton in population size. ABS-CBN Sports was a sports division of the Philippine media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation, which aired some of the notable sporting events in the Philippines. ABS-CBN Sports began in 1998 as the main broadcaster for the network-backed basketball league Metropolitan Basketball Association which introduced the home-and-away play format in the Philippine basketball landscape. 2017 PSL All-Filipino Conference
The 2017 Rebisco PSL All-Filipino Conference was the third conference and second indoor tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's fifth season. The games began on June 6, 2017 with the formal opening ceremonies taking place on June 10, 2017 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan. The tournament adopted a new format. Those on the same group will figure in a single round robin. The top two teams in Pool A and Pool B shall comprise Pool C while the bottom two teams in Pools A and B comprising Pool D. There would be a crossover quarterfinal battle between members of Pools C and D with the surviving teams figuring in the semi-finals to determine the finalists. The 2017 Belo PSL Invitational Cup was the first indoor volleyball tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's fifth season. It began on March 4, 2017, and ended on April 1, 2017. The tournament adopted the all-to-play format to give playing time to every player in each team. 2016 PSL Invitational Cup
The 2016 PLDT Home Ultera PSL Invitational Cup was the first indoor volleyball tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's fourth season. It ran from February 18 to April 9, 2016, coinciding with the UAAP Season 78 volleyball tournaments. A guest team from Thailand, playing under the name Est Cola, joined the final round, clashing against top three teams of the preliminary round for the championship. LVPI Director Jeff Tamayo was the guest speaker of the opening ceremonies, while LVPI President Joey Romasanta and Sports5 head Patricia Bermudez-Hizon attended the awarding ceremonies. 2016 PSL Season
The 2016 PSL season was the fourth season of the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). There were three indoor conferences and one beach volleyball tournament for the season. The PSL was also chosen to organize two international volleyball tournaments for the year - the 2016 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship and the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship - both of which were staged in the Philippines. Background The calendar of events for the 2016 season was finalized during the planning session between the league officials and team owners on November 11, 2015.
