''Street Fighter III'' is a Capcom developed fighting game series and part of their ''Street Fighter'' franchise. Intended as the follow up to ''Street Fighter II'' and its subsequent re-releases, the series began with the arcade release of '' Street Fighter III: New Generation'' in 1997. The games featured a whole new cast, with the only returning members being Ryu and Ken, two characters introduced in the first ''Street Fighter'' video game. Subsequent sequels would add additional characters, with the third game, named '' Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike'' also seeing the return of Chun-Li from ''Street Fighter II''. New Generation
"New Generation" is the third and final single from the album ''Dog Man Star'' by Suede, released on 30 January 1995, on Nude Records. It is the first single to feature music by new guitarist Richard Oakes. Though the title track is written by Anderson and departed guitarist Bernard Butler, Oakes contributes on "Together" and "Bentswood Boys". The single reached No. 21 in the UK. The video for the title song was directed by Richard Heslop, and features the whole band playing in a crowded room surrounded by broken television sets and dilapidated furniture, while a group of children dance or sit around. "New Generation" was the only video from the "Dog Man Star" era where Richard Oakes 'mimes' Bernard Butler's guitar part. It is also notable for its sepia format. Street Fighter V
''Street Fighter V'' is a fighting game developed by Capcom and Dimps and published by Capcom for PlayStation 4 and Windows in 2016. An arcade version exclusive to Japan was released by Taito in 2019. Similar to the previous games in the ''Street Fighter'' series, ''Street Fighter V'' features a side-scrolling fighting gameplay system. The game also introduces the "V-Gauge", which builds as the player receives attacks and adds three new skills. The game featured 16 characters at launch, with four of them being new to the series. A main story mode and 30 additional characters were added through updates and downloadable content. ''Capcom Fighting All-Stars: Code Holder'' was a 3D fighting game planned for the arcade and PlayStation 2 that was to be developed by Capcom. Like '' KOF: Maximum Impact'', it was designed to translate a 2D fighting game series into 3D. This was done previously in the '' Street Fighter EX'' series, which Capcom co-produced with Arika. The game utilized 3D assets that were previously created for a third '' Capcom vs. SNK'' title, which had been cancelled due to SNK's financial difficulties.
