Remington Arms Company, LLC, was an American firearms manufacturer, manufacturer of firearms and ammunition. It was formerly owned by the Remington Outdoor Company, which went bankrupt in 2020 with its lines of business sold to several purchasers. Two resulting companies each bear the ''Remington'' name—the firearms manufacturer is Remington Firearms owned by RemArms, RemArms, LLC., and the ammunition business is Remington Ammunition owned by The Kinetic Group (Czechoslovak Group#The Kinetic Group, Czechoslovak Group). Remington, Virginia
Remington is a town in Fauquier County, Virginia, United States. The population was 598 at the 2010 census. It is near the highways, U.S. Route 15, U.S. Route 17, U.S. Route 29, and Virginia State Route 28. Remington is less than a mile northeast of the Culpeper County line. History The Remington Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. The town developed as a transportation hub. It was a commercial port during the mid-nineteenth century on the Rappahannock Canal, but the canal failed financially, and operations were abandoned. Later, the town was a stop on the Orange and Alexandria Railroad called Rappahannock Station, but the O&A was eventually absorbed into the Norfolk Southern system, and the Remington spur fell into disuse. Remington was the site of the First Battle of Rappahannock Station and the Second Battle of Rappahannock Station during the American Civil War. Remington Carriage Museum
The Remington Carriage Museum is located in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. Opened in 1993, and the largest of its kind in the world, the Remington Carriage Museum displays more than 240 carriages. The . museum has a working stable, carriage rides, video displays, wedding rooms, an 80-seat theatre, Victorian gift shop and restaurant. Carriage history The main exhibit gallery at the museum is arranged in a series of vignettes. Each tells a story of late 19th and early 20th century North American society and the horse-drawn vehicles that were used. Remington Glacier is a steep glacier about long in Doyran Heights in the Sentinel Range of Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. It rises just north of McPherson Peak and flows east-southeast to debouch between the terminus of Hough Glacier and Johnson Spur.
