Remi Lindholm
Remi Lindholm (born 17 January 1998) is a Finnish cross-country skier who competes internationally. He represented his country at the 2022 Winter Olympics. During the 50 kilometre freestyle he suffered a frozen penis. This was the second time in his career that this happened. Skiing is the use of skis to glide on snow for basic transport, a recreational activity, or a competitive winter sport. The 2023–24 FIS Cross-Country World Cup, organized by the International Ski Federation (FIS) was the 43rd World Cup in cross-country skiing for men and women. The season started on 24 November 2023 in Ruka, Finland, and concluded on 17 March 2024 in Falun, Sweden. Johannes Høsflot Klæbo (men's) and Tiril Udnes Weng (women's), both of Norway, were the reigning champions from the previous season. However, they did not defend their title. Harald Østberg Amundsen from Norway and Jessie Diggins from United States, became the new overall champions. In October 2023, FIS decided to prolong the suspension of the Russian and Belarusian national team from competitions due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. 2021–22 FIS Cross-Country World Cup
The 2021–22 FIS Cross-Country World Cup was the 41st official World Cup season in cross-country skiing for men and women. The season began on 26 November 2021 in Ruka, Finland and was scheduled to conclude with the World Cup Finals on 18–20 March 2022 in Tyumen, Russia. But after the Russian invasion of Ukraine FIS announced that the World Cup Finals would be cancelled or moved. As a result, the final competition was the mixed team events on 13 March 2022 in Falun, Sweden. The season featured a break in February for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. On 1 March 2022, following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, FIS decided to exclude athletes from Russia and Belarus from FIS competitions, with an immediate effect.
