The Remi were an ancient Belgic tribe. The Remi (Gaulish: ''Rēmi'', 'the first, the princes') were a Belgic tribe dwelling in the Aisne, Vesle and Suippe river valleys during the Iron Age and the Roman period. Their territory roughly corresponded the modern Marne and Ardennes and parts of the Aisne and Meuse departments. Name They are mentioned as ''Remi'' by Caesar (mid-1st c. BC) and Pliny (1st c. AD), ''Rhē̃moi'' (Ῥη̃μοι; var. Ῥημοὶ) by Strabo (early 1st c. AD) and Ptolemy (2nd c. AD), ''Remos'' by Tacitus (early 2nd c. Remi Barclay Messenger (also Remi Barclay and Remi Barclay Bosseau born 1946) was a founding member of three prominent professional theatre companies in the New York City area – the Performance Group (1967–1970), Dionysus in 69 with Richard Schechner, Whole Theatre (1971–1990) and Voices of Earth (1988–2000), the latter two with Olympia Dukakis as a co-director. Her theatre work included years of acting, directing and teaching as well as creating workshops for a wide spectrum of institutions, schools and universities. In 2002, she graduated as a civil celebrant and celebrant trainer in New Jersey, and from 2004 in Australia. She retired in 2016. Joseph Roger Rémi Bujold, (born October 18, 1944) is a Canadian lawyer and former politician. Bujold began his career in politics in the early 1970s as special assistant to the Minister of Financial Institutions in the Quebec cabinet during the Bourassa Liberal government. He then became chief of staff to Quebec's Minister of State for Social Affairs. In 1975, he became special assistant to the Prime Minister of Canada, Pierre Trudeau. Bujold was first elected to the House of Commons of Canada in the 1979 federal election as the Liberal Member of Parliament for Bonaventure—Îles-de-la-Madeleine. Rémi Brague (born 8 September 1947) is a French historian of philosophy specializing in Islamic, Jewish, and Christian thought of the Middle Ages. He is professor emeritus of Arabic and religious philosophy at the Sorbonne and Romano Guardini chair of philosophy (emeritus) at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Rémi Gédéon Bouchard (March 15, 1936 – September 2, 2019) was a Canadian composer and educator. The son of Ernest Bouchard and Alma Fradette, he was born in Laurier, Manitoba and studied piano with nuns there, going on to further studies in music with Gerald Death, Phyllis Holtby and Alfred Zimmerman. In 1956, he started teaching piano in Neepawa. He received a piano teacher's certificate from the University of Manitoba in 1960. Bouchard first composed works for solo voice and choirs, as well as pieces used for teaching piano. A concert of his compositions for piano was given in 1976 in Winnipeg. Three years later, his ''Choral Fantasy on Haiku'' was performed in Finland. In 1986, he received the award for choral work at the Satori Festival of Contemporary Canadian Music.
