Remetinec Prison
Remetinec prison (officially ''Prison in Zagreb'', hr, Zatvor u Zagrebu) is a closed-type prison located in the Remetinec neighborhood of Zagreb, Croatia. The prison's capacity is 560 inmates, making it the largest prison in Croatia. In July 2012 it housed 904 prisoners and detainees, up from 850 in March 2009. The prison's overcrowding problem is also a major problem of the Croatian prison system in general. Poor living conditions led to a prisoners' hunger strike in May 2008. A planned expansion that will add 340 beds is financed by the Council of Europe Development Bank, and was in documentation stage . Ivo Sanader
Ivo Sanader (born 8 June 1953) is a former Croatian politician who served as Prime Minister of Croatia from 2003 to 2009. He is to date the second longest-serving prime minister since independence, holding the office for over five and a half years before resigning in July 2009. He is one of only two Croatian prime ministers (along with Andrej Plenković) who have served more than one term, winning general elections in 2003 and 2007. He is also, along with Ivica Račan and Plenković, one of the three prime ministers who have been at the head of more than one government cabinet, chairing his first cabinet from 23 December 2003 until 12 January 2008, and his second cabinet from 12 January 2008 until his resignation on 6 July 2009. Milan Bandić
Milan Bandić (22 November 1955 – 28 February 2021) was a Croatian politician and the longest-serving mayor of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Bandić was mayor almost continuously from 2000 to 2021, except during the time between his resignation in 2002 and the 2005 election. He was also suspended from exercising his powers and duties for several months after his 2014 arrest over a corruption scandal. Zdravko Mamić
Zdravko Mamić (born 16 July 1959) is a Croatian former football administrator and sports agent. From 2003 to 2016, he was the executive director of Croatian football club GNK Dinamo Zagreb. Mamić also worked as an advisor at NK Lokomotiva and later, between 2016 and 2021, at Dinamo Zagreb. Rajko Dujmić
Rajko Dujmić (7 August 1954 – 4 August 2020) was a Croatian songwriter, composer and music producer best known as a member of the pop group Novi fosili. He composed the winner entry of Eurovision Song Contest 1989, " Rock me", along with Stevo Cvikić. They also composed the two previous Yugoslavian entries, " Ja sam za ples", sung by Novi fosili, and "Mangup", sung by Srebrna Krila. Miljenko Mumlek (born 21 November 1972 in Varaždin) is a Croatian former footballer who played as a midfielder until being sentenced to prison for match fixing. He later returned as a football team manager for one season. The following of Ante Pavlović was a Croatian following centered around controversial charismatic Croatian self-proclaimed chiropractor Ante Pavlović.
