''Relay'' is a 2024 American thriller film produced and directed by David Mackenzie and written by Justin Piasecki. It stars Lily James, Riz Ahmed and Sam Worthington. It had its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2024 and it is scheduled to be released theatrically on August 22, 2025. Synopsis Tom (Ahmed) is a secretive "fixer" who brokers payoffs on behalf of corrupt corporations. Sarah (James) is a potential client who may need his protection. David Mackenzie (director)
David Hugh Mackenzie (born 10 May 1966) is a Scottish film director and co-founder of the Glasgow-based production company Sigma Films. He has made ten feature films including ''Young Adam (film), Young Adam'' (2003), ''Hallam Foe'' (2007), ''Perfect Sense'' (2011) and ''Starred Up'' (2013). In 2016, Mackenzie's film ''Hell or High Water (2016 film), Hell or High Water'' premiered at Cannes and was theatrically released in the United States in August. Matthew Maher (born 1971 or 1972) is an American actor. 2024 Thriller Films
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern.
