Reinevatn
Reinevatn ( en, Reindeer Lake) is a lake in the municipality of Bykle in Agder county, Norway. The lake is located south of the lakes Store Urevatn and Vatndalsvatnet in the Setesdalsheiene mountains in the Setesdal valley, about northwest of the village of Bykle. The lake has a dam on the southern edge which keeps the water level at an elevation of above sea level. The dam's spillway flows into the nearby river Skargjesåni. Bykle is a municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Setesdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Bykle. Other villages in Bykle municipality include Berdalen, Bjåen, Breive, Hoslemo, Hovden, and Nordbygdi. Bykle was established as a municipality on 1 January 1902 when it was separated from the municipality of Valle. The municipality is the 60th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Agder
Agder is a county (''fylke'') and traditional region in the southern part of Norway. The county was established on 1 January 2020, when the old Vest-Agder and Aust-Agder counties were merged. Since the early 1900s, the term Sørlandet ("south country, south land, southland") has been commonly used for this region, sometimes with the inclusion of neighbouring Rogaland. Before that time, the area was considered a part of Western Norway. The area was a medieval petty kingdom, and after Norway's unification became known as ''Egdafylki'' and later ''Agdesiden'', a county within the kingdom of Norway. Store Urevatn
Store Urevatn or Urevatn is a lake in the municipality of Bykle in Agder county, Norway. The lake lies about west of the village of Hoslemo and about northwest of the municipal centre of Bykle. The lake sits at an elevation of above sea level, high up in the Setesdalsheiene mountains, just north of the mountains Urevassnutene and Djuptjønnuten and just west of Snjoheinuten. The northeastern arm of the lake has a dam on it which leads to a canal that brings the out-flowing water to the nearby lake Vatndalsvatnet. The lake has large populations of brook trout and brown trout, which makes it a popular fishing location. Vatndalsvatnet
Vatndalsvatnet or Vatnedalsvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Bykle in Agder county, Norway. The lake lies about west of the village of Berdalen and the river Otra. The nearby lakes Ormsavatnet and Store Urevatn flow into the lake through dams and canals. The lake Vatndalsvatnet also has a dam on it and the water flows out of the lake from the dam into the Otra river. Setesdalsheiene () is the collective term for the mountains to the west and east of the Setesdalen valley in Agder county in Southern Norway. The river Otra flows through the valley between the mountains. This area is primarily located in the municipalities of Bykle, Valle, Bygland, Evje og Hornnes, Sirdal, Kvinesdal, and Åseral. The vast Hardangervidda plateau lies to the north and the Ryfylkeheiene mountains lie to the west. Setesdal (; older name: Sætersdal) is a valley and a traditional district in Agder County in southern Norway. It consists of the municipalities of Bykle, Valle, Bygland, Iveland, and Evje og Hornnes. The Otra river flows through the valley of Setesdal into the sea near Kristiansand. It flows southward from the Hardangervidda plateau in Telemark. The historic Setesdal starts at Evje and extends as far as the farm Bjåen, at the edge of the traditional region of Telemark. Øvre (Upper) Setesdal is in the municipality of Bykle.
