Reincidentes
Reincidentes is a Spanish rock/punk rock band. They were formed in the 1980s as ''Incidente Local'', by Manuel Pizarro on drums, Juan Barea on guitar, and Fernando Medina on bass and vocals. They performed their first live concert in 1987 at University of Seville. After they became finalists at a local rock contest and were joined by sax player José Luis Nieto, they recorded their self-titled debut album in 1989 released by '"Discos Trilita". After signing up to the "Discos Suicidas" label and participating in Seville Expo '92, they started touring Central America. Later, Selu left the band and Finito de Badajoz became the new guitarist. In 1997, the band signed to BMG and shortly thereafter their live album Algazara became their first gold record in Spain in 2000. Marea (band)
Marea are a Spanish rock band from Berriozar, Navarre formed in 1997 by Kutxi Romero. The band deals with lyrics influenced by Spanish folklore and literature using archaic terms and expressions. They have released eight studio albums, a collection boxset and a live album. History In 1997, after having been a member of 9 different punk bands, Kutxi Romero decided to form a rock group. He called Alen Ayerdi - former drummer of Begira - who joined Kutxi's project. He then contacted Edu Beaumont "Piñas", whom he had met one year before. Piñas had not previously played in any other band, but Kutxi - who was a very good friend of his - persuaded him to join as bassist. Mägo de Oz (Spanish for ''The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Wizard of Oz'', with a metal umlaut) are a Spanish folk metal band from Madrid, Begoña, Madrid formed in mid-1988 by drummer Txus di Fellatio. The band became well known for the strong Celtic music, Celtic feel to their music strengthened through their consistent usage of a violinist and flautist. The name for the band was chosen, according to founding member Txus, because "life is a yellow brick road, on which we walk in the company of others searching for our dreams." Rosendo Mercado Ruiz (born 23 February 1954, Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish rock singer and songwriter. He was a member of bands Ñu and Leño, and is a prominent exponent of the so-called urban rock in Spain. Biography First steps His family was from Bolaños de Calatrava, in the province of Ciudad Real, but he was raised in Carabanchel, where he still resides (as of 2005). After dropping out of ICAI engineering school, he joined the band Fresa as a guitarist, in 1972. Fresa usually played covers of hits of the time, and sometimes they also backed other soloists and singers. Following some changes, including singer José Carlos Molina joining the band, this changed its name to Ñu.
