Which was originally broadcast on the satellite network Wowow in 2007. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the anime for North American release. The anime series has a two-volume manga counterpart, running in Kadokawa Shoten's ''Monthly Shōnen Ace from November 25, 2006 to July 26, 2007. Brave Raideen
is a super robot anime series. Produced by Tohokushinsha, Asahi News Agency and Soeisha (later renamed as Sunrise), it aired on Nihon Educational Television (now TV Asahi) from 4 April 1975 to 26 March 1976, with a total of 50 episodes. The official name being ''Raideen the Brave'', it is mainly known as "Brave Raideen" or "Heroic Raydeen". Mitsuru Hongo
is a Japanese anime director of television and film. Hongo originally worked at Ajiado as an animator but moved to Shin-Ei Animation where he directed '' Crayon Shin-chan''.
