Rehlinger Cabinet
The Rehlinger cabinet is the current state government of Saarland, sworn in on 25 April 2022 after Anke Rehlinger was elected as List of Minister-Presidents of the Saarland, Minister-President of Saarland by the members of the Landtag of Saarland. It is the 29th Cabinet of Saarland. It was formed after the 2022 Saarland state election by the Social Democratic Party of Germany, Social Democratic Party (SPD). Excluding the Minister-President, the cabinet comprises six ministers, all of whom are members of the SPD. Formation The previous cabinet was a grand coalition government of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany, Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and SPD led by Minister-President Tobias Hans of the CDU. The election took place on 27 March 2022, and resulted in a landslide victory for the SPD, who won an absolute majority of seats with 43.5% of votes. Anke Gabriele Rehlinger (''née'' Moos; born 6 April 1976) is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) serving as the minister-president of Saarland and President of the Bundesrat. After her party won the 2022 state elections in Saarland, she became the second female minister-president after Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer and the first from her party. She was previously the deputy minister president of Saarland from 17 December 2013 until her election by the State Parliament of Saarland as minister-president in 2022. Early life, education and sports Rehlinger studied law at Saarland University. As a student, she was successful in field competitions in athletics. As of March 2024 she holds the Saarland state record in shot put (16.03 m in Rehlingen on 17 August 1996) as well as the Saarland youth state record in discus throw (49.18 m on 23 September 1995 in Rehlingen). Key Resolve, previously known as Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, Integration (RSOI) which was previously known as Team Spirit even earlier, is an annual command post exercise (CPX) held by United States Forces Korea with the Republic of Korea Armed Forces. It is conducted between February and April and focuses on United States Pacific Command OPLANs that support the defense of South Korea. Additionally, US units are moved to Korea from other areas and they conduct maneuvers and gunnery exercises. ROK units also conduct maneuvers with some acting as the Opposing force (OPFOR). Since 2001, Key Resolve combined with the annual combined field training exercise (FTX) Foal Eagle. Doctrinally, RSOI is detailed iFM 100-17-3 the field manual for RSOI.
