Gustav Rehberger
Gustav Rehberger (1910–1995) was an Austrian-born American painter, draftsman, illustrator, designer, muralist, and art educator. Biography Gustav Rehberger was born October 20, 1910, on a farm in Riedlingsdorf, Austria "with an abundance of animals and birds and all of nature's other wonders." as Gustav described. He was the youngest of three children. From the tender age of two years old, Rehberger demonstrated an innate artistic ability; using up all the paper in the house drawing and scribbling on it. The Rehberger family emigrated from Austria to Chicago in 1923. At age 14, Rehberger began studying at the Art Institute of Chicago on a scholarship that continued for three years. While still a teenager, he was also on scholarship at The Art Instruction Schools, Minneapolis. Milissa Rehberger
Milissa Rehberger is an American television journalist. She joined the 24-hour cable news television channel MSNBC in December 2003 as a freelance anchor and reporter. In July 2004 she was named anchor of its primetime news updates. Most recently Rehberger spent some time anchoring NBC's '' Early Today'' and MSNBC's '' First Look.'' Currently, Rehberger hosts prime time news breaks during MSNBC weeknight and weekend programming. In addition, she fills-in as anchor on MSNBC Live. Education and early career Rehberger is a 1993 graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and previously served as co-anchor for WOFL-TV in Orlando, Florida. Tobias Rehberger
Tobias Rehberger (born June 2, 1966) is a German sculptor, born in Esslingen am Neckar. He studied under Thomas Bayrle and Martin Kippenberger at the Stadelschule in Frankfurt am Main, where he now teaches. Work Rehberger works in the wider sphere of design and architecture, and his art is difficult to categorize. He has created an idyllic Japanese garden in the middle of Manhattan; Pop-inspired wallpaper consisting of photographs of his organs; a series of Modernist-looking treehouses in a park in northern Germany; and an enormous tanker based on a crude boat that the father of a friend built to escape from Vietnam. For his art-car series, a project that he began in 1999, Rehberger sent simple sketches, composed essentially from memory, of a Porsche 911 and a McLaren F1 to a manufacturer in Thailand.
