Rehan Zaib Khan
Rehan Zeb Khan (; died 31 January 2024) was a Pakistani politician who was a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. He was an election candidate in NA-8 Bajaur participating in the 2024 Pakistani general election, 8 February 2024 elections. Career Khan was an independent candidate in the 2024 Pakistani general election, 8 February elections who claimed the support of former Prime Minister Imran Khan's party. Despite the ban on PTI from contesting elections due to a recent court order, Khan was contesting the National Assembly of Pakistan, National Assembly seat from Bajaur constituency. Assassination Rehan Zeib Khan was assassinated on 31 January 2024 during the election campaign in Sadiqabad Phatak Bazar Main Chowk in Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Three of his supporters were also shot and injured. Khan's killing sparked fears of an increase in violence surrounding the parliamentary vote. Mubarak Zeb Khan
Mubarak Zeb Khan () is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2024. Political career Khan won the 2024 Pakistani by-elections from National Assembly of Pakistan constituency NA-8 Bajaur as an Pakistan Muslim League (N), PMLN candidate. He received 74,008 votes while runner up Gul Zafar Khan of Independent (politician) candidate (PTI) Supported Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, received 47,282 votes. He also won from PK-22 Bajaur-IV constituency of Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the same election. He received 23,386 votes as an Pakistan Muslim League (N), PMLN while the runner up Abid Khan of Jamaat-e-Islami (Pakistan), JI received 10,477 votes. On 14 June 2025, his residence in Bajaur district was fired upon by a rocket, partially damaging the entrance. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is a political party in Pakistan established in 1996 by cricketer and politician Imran Khan, who served as the country's prime minister from 2018 to 2022. The party is led by Gohar Ali Khan since late 2023. Imran Khan
Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi (born 5 October 1952) is a Pakistani politician, philanthropist, and former cricketer who served as the 19th prime minister of Pakistan from August 2018 until April 2022. He was the founder of the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its chairman from 1996 to 2023. Born in Lahore, Khan graduated from Keble College, Oxford. Bajaur District (, ), formerly Bajaur Agency, is a district in the Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. Prior to 2018, Bajaur Agency was the northernmost component of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), a semi-autonomous region along the Afghanistan–Pakistan border. In May 2018, FATA was merged into the larger Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (KPK) in an attempt to bring stability to the region, redesignating Bajaur Agency to Bajaur District.
