Reha Eken
Mehmet Reha Eken (28 August 1925 – 19 August 2013) was a Turkish professional footballer who played as a forward. He was strongly associated with Galatasaray Istanbul because of his long career at the club. On fan club pages he is regarded as one of the greatest players in the club's history. In his four stakes for the Turkey national team, he scored six goals and has with 1.5 the best goal / game ratio of any Turkey national team player. He was also part of Turkey's squad for the football tournament at the 1948 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches. His two brothers Danyal Vuran and Bülent Eken Bülent Eken (26 October 1923 – 25 July 2016) was a Turkish football (soccer), footballer and coach. Reha İsvan (1925 – 2013) was a Turkish author, journalist and political activist. She has been known for her post as the vice president of the Turkish Peace Association. She was imprisoned more than three years between February 1982 and February 1986 due to her activities at the association. Early life and education She was born in Şehremini, Istanbul, in 1925. Her father was an army officer who accompanied Mustafa Kemal in his journey to Samsun in May 1919. Reha Oğuz Türkkan (born 12 October 1920, Istanbul – died 18 January 2010) was a Turkish academic, journalist and a leading ideologue of Turkish nationalism.
