Regína Ósk
Regína Ósk Óskarsdóttir (born 21 December 1977, in Reykjavík) is an Icelandic singer. She has participated for Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001, 2003, and 2005 as a backing vocal, and in 2008 as a member of Eurobandið with the song " This Is My Life". Alongside Friðrik Ómar, Regína achieved the 14th place in the final, resulting in Iceland's best showing since the Eurovision Song Contest 2003. Career Early career Regína Ósk Óskarsdóttir was born in Reykjavík on 21 December 1977. She has been singing and performing all her life. Regína won two song competitions in her early teens, sang solo with her school choir, and studied classical singing for a period in The Reykjavík Academy of Singing and Vocal Arts, before taking some lessons in jazz vocals. Friðrik Ómar Hjörleifsson (born 4 October 1981) is an Icelandic singer best known for representing Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 as part of Eurobandið as lead vocals. Career Friðrik Ómar was born in Akureyri. He began playing drums at the age of five but was later asked to sing at a festival for his school, his first performance with an audience other than his mother. Impressing the crowd, he then went on to win many competitions in his hometown and made the decision to be a singer. He has worked with some of most successful artists in Iceland. In 2006, he released his debut solo album ''Annan dag'' and was nominated as "singer of the year" at the Icelandic Music Awards. In March 2006, he joined forces with fellow Icelandic singer Regína Ósk to form the band Eurobandið. "Is It True?" is a song by Icelandic singer Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir, Yohanna, the entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia. Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir (born 16 October 1990), known outside Iceland as Yohanna, is an Icelandic singer. Eiríkur Hauksson
Eiríkur Hauksson (born 4 July 1959) is an Icelandic heavy metal vocalist. He represented Iceland at Eurovision in 1986 and in 2007. Career Eiríkur's career as a vocalist began in earnest when the song "Sekur" he wrote and performed with the Icelandic rock group Start was voted the Icelandic song of the year in 1981. In 1984 Eiríkur's metal group Drýsill, released the album "Welcome to the show" which was released in 1000 copies. In 1985 Eiríkur recorded two songs, "Gaggó Vest" and "Gull", written by Gunnar Þórðarson that both became popular in Iceland. Although his interest went with the heavy metal genre, he participated in the pop music scene in Iceland, participating in many group efforts in the 1980s. In 1988 Eiríkur moved to Østfold in Norway to become the vocalist of the power metal group Artch. As their vocalist he's known as Eric Hawk.
