Regulate The Chemicals
''Regulate the Chemicals'' is the second album by indie rock band Twothirtyeight. The album was originally released in July of 2000 through Takehold Records. Reissues ''Regulate the Chemicals'' was released on vinyl by BlessedKilling Records on May 1st, 2001. After Twothirtyeight signed with Tooth & Nail Records, The album was reissued by the label on February 26th, 2002 with two new songs: "The Sticks Are Woven In The Spokes" and "Les Wirth". The additional tracks were recorded January 28-30, 2002 at Soft Rock Audio. The album was re-released on vinyl in 2009 by Recession Records, featuring the aforementioned additional songs. Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand in the early to mid-1980s. Although the term was originally used to describe rock music released through independent record labels, by the 1990s it became more widely associated with the music such bands produced. Twothirtyeight was an American indie rock band from Pensacola, Florida. They were active from 1995 to 2003, though they have reunited for performances in the years since their disbandment. Formed in 1995, Twothirtyeight released three independently produced EP albums before signing with the now-defunct Takehold Records. In 1999, Twothirtyeight released their first full-length album '' Missing You Dearly'' on Takehold Records. The band line-up featured Chris Staples, Kevin Woerner, Owen Grabo, and DJ Stone. The album was dedicated to Kevin Glass, the band's former bass guitarist, who died in a tragic car accident in 1997. Weeks before Glass was killed, he taught Owen Grabo the bass parts for most of the songs in the band's catalogue. Christopher Andrew Carrabba (born April 10, 1975) is an American musician who is the primary songwriter, lead singer, and guitarist of the band Dashboard Confessional, lead singer of the band Further Seems Forever, and lead vocalist for the folk band Twin Forks. Angelique Jackson of '' Variety'' conferred the title of "crowned king of the sad boys" on Carrabba. Andrew Leahey of ''AllMusic'' called him "the poster boy for a generation of emo fans in the early 2000s." Chris Staples
Chris Staples is an American indie rock musician originally from Pensacola, Florida, long based in Seattle, Washington. He released ''Panama, Burned and Blistered'', '' Blackest Hair, Bluest Eyes'', ''Badlands'', and ''American Soft'' independently, before catching the attention of Seattle-based Barsuk Records, who re-released ''American Soft'' in 2014. Staples' second album on Barsuk, ''Golden Age'', was released in 2016. His next album, ''Holy Moly'', was released by Barsuk on 28 June 2019. In addition to his solo career, Staples has performed with Telekinesis, Josh Tillman, Rocky Votolato, Jeremy Enigk, and David Bazan. Tooth & Nail Records is a record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in November 1993. The label later moved to Seattle where it is today. History Brandon Ebel and Michael Knott conceived the label as a joint venture, before Knott backed out. Prior to forming Tooth & Nail, Ebel worked for Frontline Records. Tooth & Nail's first album released was Wish for Eden's ''Pet the Fish.'' In 2002, the label bought out Takehold Records.
