Regret (film)
''Regret'' () is a 1995 Indonesian teen drama film directed by Sophan Sophiaan, based on the short story of the same name by Ramdhan K. H. Produced by Sophiaan's own company Sinemasakini in association with Multi Permai Films and Global Sarana Media Nusantara, the film stars Widyawati and Sophiaan in their respective lead roles. Synopsis On their 22nd wedding anniversary, Mutia was suffered in a liver cancer, which she would not changed her attitudes to her husband Affan. Although she was sympathetic, their children, Ganang and Gadis, are unlikely to be stronger when they have conflicts. When Affan's solitude began to rose, Mutia has passed away, leaving her husband's regrets. Cast Music Indonesian rock singer Oki Oktaviani performs two songs in this film, with one being a cover of a song written by Dwiki Dharmawan and Ags. Sophan Sophiaan
Sophan Sophiaan (26 April 1944 – 17 May 2008) was an Indonesian film actor and politician. He was a member of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP). Early life Sophiaan was born in the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi, on 26 April 1944. His father was Indonesian politician and diplomat Manai Sophiaan and his grandfather was a former political prisoner called Paiso. His last appearance was in the 2008 film, ''Love (2008 Indonesian film), Love'', opposite his real life wife, Indonesian actress, Widyawati. Death Sophiaan was killed in a motorcycle accident in :id:Widodaren, Ngawi, Widodaren, Ngawi Regency, Ngawi, on 17 May 2008, at the age of 64. He was participating in a motorcycle parade called "The Route of the National Awakening" to commemorate the 100th anniversary of National Awakening Day when the accident occurred.
