Reginmar
Reginmar (30 September 1138) was bishop in the diocese of Passau from 1121 to 1138.Herbert Wilhelm Wurster: Das Bistum Passau und seine Geschichte. 4 Bände, Straßburg 1994-2010. Reginmar's origin is unknown. He promoted the monasteries and founded the abbeys at Aldersbach (1120), (1125), Ranshofen (1125), Klosterneuburg (1133), Heiligenkreuz (1134) and Altenmarkt (1138). At the same time, he extended the parish network of the diocese. It was only now that more and more clearly defined spheres were laid down with their own priest, with which the individual churches lost their importance. Aldersbach ( bar, label=Central Bavarian, Oidaschbo) is a municipality in the district of Passau in Bavaria in Germany. The former Cistercian Aldersbach Abbey, of which the Baroque church remains, is located in the village. There is also a brewery with museum. Aldersbach has around 4,500 inhabitants. Geography Geographic setting Aldersbach is located in the Donau-Wald region in the Vils valley, some ten kilometers south west of Vilshofen an der Donau, 30 km west of Passau, 25 km north of Pfarrkirchen and 15 km south of Osterhofen. Klosterneuburg (; frequently abbreviated as Kloburg by locals) is a town in Tulln District in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It has a population of about 27,500. The Klosterneuburg Monastery, which was established in 1114 and soon after given to the Augustinians, is of particular historical importance. Geography It is located on the Danube, immediately north of the Austrian capital Vienna, from which it is separated by the Kahlenberg and Leopoldsberg hills of the Vienna Woods range. Leopold III, Margrave Of Austria
Leopold III (german: Luitpold, 1073 – 15 November 1136), known as Leopold the Good, was the Margrave of Austria from 1095 to his death in 1136. He was a member of the House of Babenberg.
