Regine Bakenecker
Regine Bakenecker (; born 5 April 1993) is a German pole vaulter. She is a two-time top three finisher at the German Athletics Championships. Biography Kramer's first international championship was the 2009 European Youth Olympic Festival, where she finished 9th in the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.55 metres. In 2016, Kramer placed 6th at the new Rabat Diamond League, scoring one point in the 2016 Diamond League standings. Later that year she won the Adidas BOOST meeting in Herzogenaurach. 2018 German Athletics Championships
The 2018 German Athletics Championships was the 118th edition of the national championship in outdoor track and field for Germany. It was held on 21 and 22 July at the Max-Morlock-Stadion in Nuremberg. It served as the selection meeting for Germany at the 2018 European Athletics Championships. The 100 metres, or 100-meter dash, is a sprint race in track and field competitions. The shortest common outdoor running distance, the dash is one of the most popular and prestigious events in the sport of athletics. It has been contested at the Summer Olympics since 1896 for men and since 1928 for women. The inaugural World Championships were in 1983. On an outdoor 400-metre running track, the 100 m is held on the home straight, with the start usually being set on an extension to make it a straight-line race. There are three instructions given to the runners immediately before and at the beginning of the race: "on your marks", "set", and the firing of the starter's pistol. 2017 German Indoor Athletics Championships
The 2017 German Indoor Athletics Championships () was the 64th edition of the national championship in indoor track and field for Germany. It was held on 18–19 February at the Arena Leipzig in Leipzig – the seventh time the venue had hosted the championships. Ticketing for the event was sold out. Herzogenaurach (; ) is a town in the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt, in Bavaria, Germany. It is home to two major international sporting goods companies, Adidas and Puma, and Schaeffler Group, a car parts manufacturer. Geography Herzogenaurach is situated in the Middle Franconia area of Bavaria, northwest of Nuremberg. The town is located on the Aurach river, a tributary of the Regnitz river. 2016 Diamond League
The 2016 IAAF Diamond League was the seventh season of the annual series of outdoor track and field meetings, organised by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). The 2016 series saw three changes to the format. One of the two American meetings, the Adidas Grand Prix held in New York, was dropped from the calendar in favour of the Rabat Meeting in Morocco. This was the first meeting on the calendar to be held in Africa, which had previously been the only northern hemisphere continent not represented on the Diamond League. The second major change was an amendment to the point scoring system. The former model of four points for the winner, two for runner-up and one for third was overhauled with a broader points system giving ten to the winner, six the runner-up and progressively fewer points down to sixth place. Rabat Diamond League
