Reggie Goodes
Norman Reginald Goodes (born 4 April 1991) is a former South African-born rugby union player who played as a prop for in New Zealand's domestic Mitre 10 Cup from 2010 to 2016 and for the in the international Super Rugby competition from 2012 to 2016. He announced his retirement in early 2018 on medical advice after suffering a number of concussions. Early career Born in Witbank, South Africa, Goodes emigrated to New Zealand with his family in 2006. Having attended Afrikaans Hoër Seunskool in Pretoria, he completed his schooling at Wellington College where he played first XV rugby for 3 years. After graduating high school, he started playing for Poneke in Wellington's local club rugby competition. Witbank
Witbank (), officially eMalahleni, is a city situated on the Highveld of Mpumalanga, South Africa, within the Emalahleni Local Municipality, Mpumalanga, Emalahleni Local Municipality. The name Witbank is Afrikaans for "white ridge", and is named after a white sandstone outcrop where wagon transport drivers rested. The city is known for its coal-mining in the surrounding region. 2016 Mitre 10 Cup
The 2016 Mitre 10 Cup season was the eleventh season of New Zealand's provincial rugby union competition since it turned professional in 2006. The regular season began on August 18, when North Harbour (National Provincial Championship), North Harbour hosted Counties Manukau (National Provincial Championship), Counties Manukau. It involved the top fourteen rugby unions of New Zealand. For sponsorship reasons, the competition was known as the Mitre 10 (New Zealand), Mitre 10 Cup and it was the first season under the lead sponsor. 2016 Super Rugby Season
The 2016 Super Rugby season was the 21st season of Super Rugby and the first season featuring an expanded 18-team format. It was also the first season that teams outside Australia, New Zealand and South Africa featured, with the Jaguares from Argentina and the Sunwolves from Japan taking part. This season also saw the return of the Kings, who competed just once before, in the 2013 Super Rugby season. Toby James Smith (born 10 October 1988) is a retired Australian rugby union player. He played prop for the Chiefs, Rebels and in Super Rugby, and for the Australian national rugby union team internationally. Michael Fatialofa (born 14 September 1992) is a New Zealand rugby union player who currently plays as a lock for Worcester Warriors in the Premiership.
