Regensberg Reformed Church
Regensberg Reformed Church (''Reformierte Kirchgemeinde Regensberg'') is an Evangelical Reformed Church in the Swiss municipality of Regensberg in the Canton of Zürich. The church originally dates to 1248, when it was a wooden chapel. In 1540, the chapel and all the houses in the upper castle were destroyed by fire. Only the church's tower, dating to 1506, and the main portal were spared. The church was rebuilt in stone in the Gothic style. Its south-facing clock face overlooks the municipality. The roof of the church tower was redesigned and rebuilt as a "tent roof" in 1723. To pay for the work, the church's pews were sold. Three new bells were installed in the new tower clock shortly after World War II, in addition to a new mechanical organ being built. Another major renovation was begun in 1991. , the pastor of the church is Bänziger Matthias.

Regensberg
Regensberg is a municipality in the Dielsdorf District of the Swiss canton of Zurich. It is located just to the west of Dielsdorf municipality, on a -ridge of the Lägern. History Regensberg was founded as a hilltop fortified settlement about 1245 by Baron Lüthold of Regensberg. The fortifications include a -high round tower dating from the 16th or 17th century and a -deep water well. Regensberg Reformed Church, originally dating from the 13th century, was rebuilt around 1540. During the mid-13th century, relations between the Barons of Regensberg and the city of Zurich became strained. At about this same time, the barons began to argue with the Habsburgs over who would inherit the lands of the now-extinct Kyburg family. In 1267, the disputes led to war between the barons and the combined Zurich and Habsburg forces. The barons lost this war, and rapidly declined in power over the following half-century. Unterburg, Regensberg
Unterburg (English: ''Lower Castle'') or Unterstadt (''Lower Town'') is the lower section of the medieval municipality of Regensberg, Switzerland, which was founded as a hilltop fortified settlement. The 13th-century Regensberg Castle is located in Oberburg (''Upper Castle''), which is enclosed by the town wall, partly formed by two rows of houses which were constructed in the late 17th century. Unterburg was likely built in the 14th century, and is separated from Oberburg by a gate. It climbs a steady hill in an eastward direction from Wehntelstrasse in Regensberg's old town (''altstadt''), before turning north at the summit's gate.
