At the conclusion of the trials, Rathwell was named to Canada's 2024 Olympics team. Backstroke
Backstroke or back crawl is one of the four Swimming (sport), swimming styles used in competitive events regulated by FINA, and the only one of these styles swum on the back. This swimming style has the advantage of easy breathing, but the disadvantage of swimmers not being able to see where they are going. It also has a different start from the other three competition swimming styles. The swimming style is similar to an ''upside down'' front crawl or freestyle. Both backstroke and front crawl are long-axis strokes. In individual medley backstroke is the second style swum; in the medley relay it is the first style swum. Tennessee Volunteers Women's Swimming And Diving
The Tennessee Volunteers women's Swimming and Diving program represents the University of Tennessee located in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Tennessee Volunteers, Volunteers are currently coached by Matt Kredich. The Lady Vols host their swim home meets in Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center which was newly built in 2008. The Lady compete in the Southeastern Conference, SEC where they have won 2 SEC team titles (2020 and 2022), 84 individual, relay, and diving titles. Additionally, the program is one of only 3 that have scored in all 41 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, NCAA meets, and it has produced 8 NCAA individual and relay titles, 16 Olympians, and 3 Olympic medalists.
