Regent railway station is located on the Mernda line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the northern Melbourne suburb of Reservoir, and it opened on 8 October 1889 as Preston-Regent Street. It was renamed Regent on 1 August 1905. Reg District (Kandahar)
Reg District ( Balochi/ ps, ولسوالی ریګ) is located in the southern part of Kandahar Province in Afghanistan. It borders Helmand Province to the west, Panjwai and Daman districts to the north, Shorabak District to the east and Chagai District in Balochistan, Pakistan, to the south. The population of Reg District was 7,900 in 2006, mostly Baloch and Pashtun tribes. The district center is the village Reg Alaqadari, which is located in the most southeastern part of the district - a few miles north from the Durand Line (Afghanistan-Pakistan border). Security in and around the district is maintained by the Afghan National Security Forces, mainly the Afghan Border Police. The whole district is a desert and there are only a few larger settlements. Rwanda Energy Group BBC, commonly known as REG, is a Rwandan basketball club based in Kigali. It is owned and named after the company Rwanda Energy Group Limited. It plays in the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL), the highest tier of basketball in Rwanda. REG has won the national championship thrice, in 2017, 2021 and 2022. A C-type lectin (CLEC) is a type of carbohydrate-binding protein known as a lectin. The C-type designation is from their requirement for calcium for binding.
