RedeTV! (, also Rede TV! or RTV! or TV Ômega) is a Brazilian television network owned by Amilcare Dallevo and Marcelo de Carvalho. It is the newest television network, among the five major networks in Brazil, being a relaunch of Rede Manchete in 1999. RedeTV! has modern production plants, located in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Recife and Fortaleza. RedeTV! is headquartered in the ''CTD - Centro de Televisão Digital'' (''Digital Television Center'', in English), located in Osasco, a suburb of São Paulo, where its news division is based. It was the first network worldwide to be broadcast in 3D. With a market share of 0.7 points in 2018, it has the smallest market share out of the top five Brazilian TV networks. RedeTV! São Paulo
RedeTV! São Paulo is a Brazilian television station based in Osasco, but licensed in the city of São Paulo, respectively the city and capital of the state of the same name. It operates on channel 9 (29 UHF digital) and is both an owned-and-operated station and flagship station of RedeTV!. The station's headquarters is the Digital Television Center in the Vila São José neighborhood, where RedeTV!'s programming is generated for the entire country. History The license was the only one Rede Manchete inherited from TV Excelsior during the early 80s auction caused by the shutdown of Rede Tupi on July 18, 1980. Pânico na TV (English: ''Panic on TV'') was a Brazilian comedy program shown on RedeTV! on Sundays. It's the television version of the original radio program called Pânico. After its debut on TV (September 28, 2003), the program has become famous throughout Brazil. The show moved to Rede Bandeirantes in 2012 as Pânico na Band, staying on air until its cancellation in 2017. The program Pânico on the Radio has existed since 1993 on Jovem Pan. The idea of doing a different program came about from the owner of the Jovem Pan radio station Antonio Augusto Amaral de Carvalho, known as Tuta. ''TV Fama'' is a weekday Brazilian entertainment newsmagazine on RedeTV! which licenses the format of the American entertainment newsmagazine ''Entertainment Tonight''. The program is presented by Nelson Rubens and Flávia Noronha. It is one of the oldest programs on the network. Since joining the air, ''TV Fama'' has significant average audience. Rede Manchete (; lit.: Headline Network; also known as TV Manchete or only Manchete) was a Brazilian television network that was founded in Rio de Janeiro on 5 June 1983 by the Ukrainian-Brazilian journalist and businessman Adolpho Bloch.
