Redcoats Mess House is a heritage-listed former military mess and now commercial building at 2 Horwood Place, Parramatta, City of Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. It is now used for commercial purposes. Description The Redcoats Mess House is a two-storey gabled building with a rectangular plan running north–south. The New South Wales State Heritage Register, also known as NSW State Heritage Register, is a heritage list of places in the state of New South Wales, Australia, that are protected by New South Wales legislation, generally covered by the Heritage Act 1977 and its 2010 amendments. The register is administered by the Heritage Council of NSW via Heritage NSW, a division of the Government of New South Wales Department of Planning and Environment.
