Red Room (comics)
The Red Room is a fictional location appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The Soviet training facility was created to produce highly specialized spies, including Black Widows Natasha Romanova and Yelena Belova. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the Red Room appears as a Russia-based program that trains young orphan girls to become elite assassins called Black Widows. The program, and its end, are portrayed in the film '' Black Widow'' (2021). Fictional history In the Marvel Universe, The Red Room (Красная комната) is one of the K.G.B.'s espionage-training programs. During the Cold War, it trained female spies known as Black Widows. David López (artist)
David López (born 1975 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) is a Spanish comic book artist. Biography López started his comics career in the Spanish fanzine before moving on to work on ''Espiral''. In 2002 he moved to the American comic book market. He is best known for co-creating and illustrating the first volume of the monthly series ''Fallen Angel'', which was co-created by writer Peter David, and published by DC Comics. After the series was canceled in May 2005 following its twentieth issue, it was picked up by IDW Publishing in December of that year, but Lopez did not continue on it as artist, although he did provide the covers. |

A false flag operation is an act committed with the intent of disguising the actual source of responsibility and pinning blame on another party. The term "false flag" originated in the 16th century as an expression meaning an intentional misrepresentation of someone's allegiance. Ronin is an alias used by multiple characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. It was first adopted by Maya Lopez in '' The New Avengers'' #11 (November 2005) by Brian Michael Bendis and Joe Quesada. Following this, the Ronin mantle has been taken up by characters such as Clint Barton, Alexei Shostakov, Eric Brooks, and Bullseye. Two incarnations of the character appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
