Reckless (2014 Film)
''Reckless'' ( nl, Bloedlink) is a 2014 Dutch thriller film directed by Joram Lürsen. The film is a Dutch-language remake of the 2009 film ''The Disappearance of Alice Creed''. The film was the opening film of the Netherlands Film Festival in 2014. In 2015, Tygo Gernandt won the Rembrandt Award for his role in the film. The soundtrack for the film was made by the Dutch band Kensington. Plot Two ex-convicts, Victor (Tygo Gernandt) and Rico (Marwan Kenzari) kidnap a millionaire's daughter, Laura Temming (Sarah Chronis). They force her into a van in broad daylight and soon after begin negotiating ransom with her father. They remove all evidence by stripping their van, removing all of Laura's clothes and preventing her from sitting on a toilet, intead forcing her to use a bedpan for peeing while handcuffed and ballgagged. Joram Lürsen
Joram Lürsen (born 11 August 1963) is a Dutch film director, film and television director, as well as screenwriter and producer. Lürsen was born in Amstelveen. He graduated from the Netherlands Film and Television Academy in Amsterdam in 1990 with his film ''De Finales'' (English language, English translation: ''The Finals''). He directed the family film ''In Orange'' (2004), which received a Golden Film for 100,000 visitors and international awards at film festivals in Hamburg, Esfahan, Kristiansand, Los Angeles, California, Los Angeles, Poznań, and Rimouski, Quebec, Rimouski. Ransom is the practice of holding a prisoner or item to extort money or property to secure their release, or the sum of money involved in such a practice. Oudewater () is a municipality and a town in the Netherlands. History The origin of the town of Oudewater is obscure and no information has been found concerning the first settlement of citizens. It is also difficult to recover the name of Oudewater. One explanation is that the name is a corruption of ''old water-meadow''. Oudewater was an important border city between Holland and Utrecht. A bedpan or bed pan is a receptacle used for the toileting of a bedridden patient in a health care facility, and is usually made of metal, glass, ceramic, or plastic. A bedpan can be used for both urinary and fecal discharge. Many diseases can confine a patient to bed, necessitating the use of bedpans, including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and dementia. Kensington is a Dutch rock band from Utrecht that was formed in 2005.
