Rechukka (1985)
''Rechukka'' () is a 1955 Indian Telugu-language swashbuckler film directed by P. Pullaiah. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao, Anjali Devi with music composed by Aswatthama. The story was inspired by '' The Prince Who Was a Thief'' (1951), starring Tony Curtis. The film was remade in Tamil and titled ''Naattiya Thara''. The Tamil version was released in 1955. Thanjai N. Ramaiah Dass wrote the dialogues and lyrics for the Tamil version, while G. Ramanathan scored the music. It was also a commercial hit. Aaroor Dass, who was a successful screenplay writer later, started his career as an assistant to Thanjai N. Ramaiah Dass in 1955 and assisted in writing the dialogues for this film. He has said that he named his first child as Arokyamary and also gave a pet name, ''Thara Devi'' in remembrance of the film ''Nattiya Thara''. Malladi Ramakrishna Sastry (16 June 1905 – 12 September 1965) was a Telugu writer. Lifesketch Their family has settled in Bandar (Machilipatnam) during his childhood. He has passed B.A. in Machilipatnam and M.A. in Telugu and Sanskrit in Madras. Nagabhushanam (actor)
C. Nagabushanam (19 March 1922 – 5 May 1995) was an Indian actor known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acted in more than 350 films from the 1950s to the 1980s. He primarily acted in villain and character actor roles. Nagabushanam was a trendsetter in enacting comic villain characters. He was also known by the title “Natabhooshana” (). He acted in with more than 5000 shows of the play ''Raktha Kanneeru'' () due to which he also became known as “Raktha Kanneeru Nagabhushanam”. His first film was '' Palletooru'' (1952). Raghupathi Venkaiah
Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu (15 October 1869 – 15 March 1941) was an Indian filmmaker and entrepreneur widely regarded as the father of Telugu cinema. A pioneer of Indian cinema, Naidu established the first Indian-owned movie theatres in South India and founded Star of the East Films, the first film production company established by a Telugu person. He is credited with producing ''Bhishma Pratigna'' (1921), considered the first Telugu feature film, thus laying the foundation for the Telugu film industry. A myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when Ischemia, blood flow decreases or stops in one of the coronary arteries of the heart, causing infarction (tissue death) to the heart muscle. The most common symptom is retrosternal Angina, chest pain or discomfort that classically radiates to the left shoulder, arm, or jaw. The pain may occasionally feel like heartburn. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. He is considered one of the greatest singers of Telugu and Indian cinema. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema. Pillavalu Gajapathy Krishnaveni (3 November 1935 – 16 August 2004), more famously known as Jikki, was an Indian playback singer from Andhra Pradesh. She sang around 10,000 songs in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Sinhalese, and Hindi languages. Early life Jikki was born in Chennai on November 3rd, 1935. Her parents, Gajapathi Naidu and Rajakanthamma, a Telugu family, had moved from Chandragiri, near Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh to Chennai for their livelihood. Her uncle, Devaraju Naidu, worked as a music composer with the celebrated Kannada theatre legend and movie pioneer Gubbi Veeranna and this introduced the young Jikki to the music and film world.
