Rebels (Black Veil Brides EP)
''Rebels'' is the debut EP by American rock band Black Veil Brides, released exclusively through iTunes on December 13, 2011. The EP contains three new tracks, the first one being an original song titled "Coffin", which was a left over from the group's previous album '' Set the World on Fire''. Coffin's music video was released on June 13, 2012, to members of the BVB mailing list. It was later posted on the official Black Veil Brides website. The other two tracks are covers of the Billy Idol song "Rebel Yell" and Kiss' " Unholy", which also features Zakk Wylde playing the guitar solo. ''Rebels'' also contains a six-minute long director's cut of their music video for the song "Rebel Love Song". Black Veil Brides is an American rock band based in Hollywood, California. The group formed in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is currently composed of lead vocalist Andy Biersack, multi instrumentalist Jinxx, lead guitarist Jake Pitts, drummer Christian "CC" Coma and bassist Lonny Eagleton. "Rebel Love Song" is the fifth single (music), single by American Rock music, rock band Black Veil Brides, and the third and final single from their second album ''Set the World on Fire (Black Veil Brides album), Set the World on Fire''. Lead vocalist Andy Biersack explained the meaning of the song in an interview with ''Kerrang!'' magazine: "That song is about the idea of finding something that you can run to, about making that Utopian society in your head and doing what you can to bust out and get there." Jacob Mark "Jake" Pitts (born August 21, 1985) is an American musician best known as the lead guitarist of the rock band Black Veil Brides. Pitts and fellow Black Veil Brides guitarist Jinxx won Revolver Magazine's Golden Gods Award for "Best Guitarists 2012". Career Pitts received his first guitar when he was 10 years old, but he put it away and did not play it again until he was 13. He began listening to Metallica around this time, because he wanted to recreate their sound. Jake only received lessons for about four months. After this time, he chose to learn on his own. Andrew Dennis Biersack (born December 26, 1990), formerly known as Andy Six, is an American singer. He is the founder and lead vocalist of the rock band Black Veil Brides and is its only remaining original member. In 2014, he started a solo music project under the moniker Andy Black and released his debut album, '' The Shadow Side'', in 2016. Early life and education Biersack was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Chris and Amy Biersack. For his early education, Biersack attended a Catholic elementary school, which he has spoken of in many interviews. Because of the way Biersack dressed and the music he listened to (i.e. Kiss, the Misfits, Avenged Sevenfold, the Damned, the Dropkick Murphys, etc.), he was the target of bullying at school. Screaming is an extended vocal technique that is popular in "aggressive" music genres such as heavy metal, punk rock, and noise music. Screamed vocals are usually harsh, loud and aggressive, used to create an angry, emotional or intense tone. ''Black Veil Brides'', also known as ''Black Veil Brides IV'', is the fourth studio album by American rock band Black Veil Brides. It was released through Lava Records/Republic Records on October 27, 2014. The first track on the album, "Heart of Fire", was aired on BBC Radio 1's Rock Show in September, then "Faithless" was uploaded onto YouTube on September 10. Also, as of September 16, 2014, the album was released on iTunes for pre-order.
