Rebecca McKinnis
Rebecca McKinnis is a British actress and singer who is best known for playing Margaret New in ''Everybody's Talking about Jamie'' and Heidi Hansen in the original West End cast of ''Dear Evan Hansen''. Early life and education McKinnis grew up in Scotland and graduated in musical theatre from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2001. Stage McKinnis first role in a theatre production was in Boy George's ''Taboo''. In 2012 McKinnis was part of the ensemble of ''Viva Forever!'' a comedy musical by Jennifer Saunders, featuring songs from the Spice Girls. The show ran at the Piccadilly Theatre between 2012 and 2013, closing in 6 months. In 2015 she was part of the cast of '' The Sound of Music Live, a'' British TV production with Julian Ovenden in the role of Captain Von Trapp and Maria Friedman in that of Mother Abbess. John McCrea (actor)
John McCrea (born 10 October 1992) is a British actor and singer. He was nominated for an Olivier Award for the role Jamie New in the coming-of-age stage musical ''Everybody's Talking About Jamie'', and portrayed Artie in the 2021 Disney crime comedy-drama '' Cruella''. Personal life and education McCrea attended Sylvia Young Theatre School, in London and Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. McCrea is openly gay. Acting career McCrea had roles in the 2017 film ''God's Own Country'' and the 2020 television series ''Dracula''. Dominion Theatre
The Dominion Theatre is a West End theatre and former cinema on Tottenham Court Road, close to St Giles Circus and Centre Point, in the London Borough of Camden. Planned as primarily a musical theatre, it opened in 1929, but the following year became a cinema—it hosted the London premiere of Charlie Chaplin's '' City Lights'' with Chaplin in attendance—and in 1933 after liquidation of the controlling company was sold to Gaumont cinema chain, which later became part of the Rank Organisation. We Will Rock You (musical)
''We Will Rock You'' (often abbreviated as ''WWRY'') is a jukebox musical based on the songs of British rock band Queen with a book by Ben Elton. The musical tells the story of a renegade group known as the Bohemians who struggle to restore the free exchange of thought and culture in a vaguely Orwellian society. Directed by Christopher Renshaw and choreographed by Arlene Phillips, the original West End production opened in 2002. Although the musical was at first panned by critics, it has become an audience favourite, becoming the longest-running musical at the Dominion Theatre, celebrating its tenth anniversary on 14 May 2012. Sam Tutty (born 9 April 1998) is an English actor. He is most known for his title role in the West End production of the musical ''Dear Evan Hansen'' for which a then 22-year-old Tutty won a 2020 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, becoming one of the youngest winners of the award.
