Rebecca Nicole Johnson is an Australian scientist (geneticist) and science communicator. Since April 2015, Johnson has been Director and Chief Scientist of thAustralian Museum Research Institute (AMRI) Sydneysince the establishment of the Australian Museum in 1827. Rebecca Johnson (born 1954) is a British peace activist and expert on nuclear disarmament. She is the director and founder of Acronym Institute for Disarmament Diplomacy as well as a co-founding strategist and organiser of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons. Education Johnson holds a B.Sc. in philosophy and politics from University of Bristol and an Master of Arts in international relations of the Far East from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). Johnson completed a PhD in international relations and treaty negotiations at the London School of Economics in 2004. Becky Johnson (born February 14, 1978) is a Canadian comedian, writer, actress, improviser, craftsperson and organizer. Early life Johnson was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on February 14, 1978, she attended Queen Elisabeth Annex Primary School, Ecole Jules Quesnel, Kitsilano Secondary School and Prince of Wales Secondary. While in high school, Johnson began studying and performing improvised comedy through the Canadian Improv Games. Acronym Institute For Disarmament Diplomacy
The Acronym Institute for Disarmament Diplomacy is a Non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1995 by Rebecca Johnson, senior advisor to the United Nations' United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission chaired by Hans Blix from January 2000 to June 2003. It states as its goal "to promote effective approaches to international security, disarmament and arms control. Engaging with governments and civil society, Acronym provides reporting, analysis and strategic thinking on a range of issues relevant to peace and security, with special emphasis on treaties and multilateral initiatives." Jitex BK, more commonly known as just ''Jitex'', is a football club in Mölndal, Sweden, that competes in Elitettan, the second tier of Swedish women's football. The club was founded January 21, 1971 and previously played in the Elitettan, Sweden's second highest division, and the top division league, the Damallsvenskan. Jitex won six national championships and three victories in the Swedish Cup during the 1970s and 1980s. The Jitex name came from the first sponsor; Jitex fashion house.
