RealityXtra (formerly CBS Drama) is a British free-to-air television channel that centres its programming on American television shows produced by CBS. It is the sister channel of CBS Reality and is owned in partnership by AMC Networks and Paramount Networks. History CBS Drama On 14 September 2009, it was revealed that the international arm of CBS, CBS Studios International, struck a joint venture deal with Chellomedia to launch six CBS-branded channels in the UK during 2009. AMC (European TV Channel)
AMC is a European TV channel launched by AMC Networks International. AMC replaced the MGM Channel on 5 November 2014, but in Poland on 6 May 2016. AMC-produced dramas '' Halt & Catch Fire'' and '' The Divide'' are among the first original series that premiered on the channel. The channel also airs films from MGM, Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment. The channel launched in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2015, in partnership with BT TV and branded AMC from BT. Until 2019, Sky customers in the UK had access to the channel if they subscribed to BT Sport, but was subsequently removed from the platform on 2 October 2019, making the channel exclusive to BT TV subscribers. The channel is known for its horror movies during the evenings and early hours with its schedule featuring in the ''Films'' section of the ''Radio Times'' rather than with the General Entertainment channels. History Horror Channel was available as a free-to-air service on Astra 2F and, since Friday the 13th of March 2015, on Freeview channel 70. CBS Reality is a European television channel broadcast in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. History CBS Reality was launched as Reality TV on 1 December 1999 as a joint-venture between UPCtv and Zone Vision. In 2005, Liberty Global, owner of UPC, bought Zone Vision. In 2006, they decided to put all their channels under the unified "Zone" brand. Reality TV became ''Zone Reality'', Reality Extra in UK became ''Zone Reality Extra'' on 26 June 2006. CBS Europa
CBS Europa (formerly Zone Europa, Europa Europa, Le Cinema and Wizja Le Cinema) is a Polish film channel. It broadcasts contemporary films, influential classics, acclaimed favourites and avant-garde productions. Distributors including Universal Studios, Film4 Productions, the British Film Institute, M6 and Sogepaq contribute the independent productions to the channel. Zone Europa's 14-hour schedule was extended to 20 hours at weekends. The channel was originally available in 15 territories across Europe and The Americas by over 6.6 million subscribers. Spanish language content was also available to Comcast On Demand en Espanol in the United States.
