Realiti (TV Series)
''Realiti'' is a Malaysian television series starring Chelsia Ng, Ashraf Sinclair, Melissa Maureen, Alvin Wong, Azizan Nin, Radhi Khalid and Maria Farida. It is produced by Ng Ping Ho under Popiah Pictures. Its first season which was aired on 8TV (Malaysia), 8TV, having run from 3 September to 5 November 2006. Plot This drama series revolves 5 contestants of the fictional ''Idol series, Idol''-styled television singing contest called ''Malaysian Star''. Former rock star Mac assumes responsibility as the vocal coach for the contestants, Amir, Melody, Burn, Nickson, and Baby. The story also depicts the hard path which the contestants take to become the champion of a competition. Each of them has their deep secret, dark past and complicated background. Only one of them would emerge winner. Kee Thuan Chye
Kee Thuan Chye (born 25 May 1954) is a Malaysian actor, dramatist, poet and journalist. Acting in theatre, films, and on television for more than 40 years, he continues to do so. In 1981, Kee co-founded the theatre group, KAMI, in Kuala Lumpur. A noted civil rights activist, he would express in his plays whatever he could not express through the newspapers under Malaysia's repressive Printing Presses and Publications Act (PPPA). For speaking out without fear or favour, Kee was among the first recipients of The Annexe Heroes Freedom of Expression Awards when it was launched in 2008. Carmen Soo (born Soo Wai Ming; 14 October 1977) is a Malaysian model and actress. Life and career Soo was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to a Chinese father and to a half-Chinese, half-British mother.
