Real Friends (band)
Real Friends is an American rock band from Tinley Park, Illinois. To date, the band has released seven EPs and four studio albums. Previously signed to Fearless Records and Pure Noise Records, the band independently released their most recent full-length album, ''Blue Hour'', on October 11, 2024. History Formation and EPs (2010–13) In the fall of 2010 bassist Kyle Fasel "wasn't happy" with the music he was working on and wished to start over. Fasel called lead guitarist Dave Knox and the pair soon started talking about the goals they wished to achieve. Fasel didn't expect it to lead anywhere. Vocalist Dan Lambton, who was friends with Knox, received a call from Fasel, asking if he would like to join him and Knox. They were soon joined by drummer Aaron Schuck. Tinley Park is a village in Cook County, Illinois, Cook and Will County, Illinois, Will counties in the U.S. state of Illinois. The Promise Ring
The Promise Ring was an American rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that is recognized as part of the second wave of emo. Among various other EPs and singles, the band released four studio albums during their initial run: '' 30° Everywhere'' (1996), '' Nothing Feels Good'' (1997), '' Very Emergency'' (1999), and '' Wood/Water'' (2002). Their first two albums solidified their place among the emo scene; their third effort shifted toward pop music, while their final record was much more experimental in nature. The band initially broke up in 2002 and has reunited sporadically since then to perform live, but no new material from the band has since been released. Jimmy Eat World is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Mesa, Arizona, in 1993. Kenneth Robert "Kenny" Vasoli (born May 20, 1984) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Vasoli is currently the lead singer and songwriter of pop-punk band The Starting Line and psychedelic pop band Vacationer. The Starting Line is an American pop-punk band formed in Churchville, Pennsylvania, Churchville, Pennsylvania in 1999. They are currently based in Philadelphia. History Early years (1999–2001) In 1999, the band that would become The Starting Line was initiated when guitarist Matt Watts, from his Connecticut dorm room, sent out emails to people from the AOL member directory who had similar bands in their profiles. He sent out many emails including one vocalist/bassist Kenny Vasoli. It asked if the 14-year-old Vasoli, who was at that time in a band called Smash Adams, was interested in "Jamming and shit", as the message title read.
