Geo Entertainment
''Geo Entertainment'' or Har Pal Geo is a Pakistani entertainment television channel owned by Geo Television Network was established in May 2002. Its test transmission started on 14 August 2002 on the PAS 10 digital satellite whereas on 1 October 2002 the regular transmission of Geo Entertainment was started. History GEO has been one of the oldest Pakistani networks, and regularly has received good TRPs on various daily soaps, reality series, and drama serials since inception. Geo broadcast many daily soaps during its initial years and the soaps became popular too. Some shows from the 2000s that aired on the network which are still recognized include ''Tere Pehlu Main, Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Kaash Main Teri Beti Na Hoti, Tum Ho Kay Chup, Doraha, Yeh Zindagi Hai'' and various more. Peace TV Urdu
Peace TV is an Emirati satellite television network that broadcasts free-to-air programming. It is one of the world's largest religious satellite television networks. On 21 January 2006, Zakir Naik created the network, which is based in Dubai. The network has broadcast all over the world. Naik regards the network as a 'edutainment' channel. Peace TV was also available free-to-air on the LiveStation satellite television provider. On the basis of hate-speech laws, Naik's Peace TV was banned from broadcasting in India, Bangladesh, Canada, Sri Lanka, and the United Kingdom. Despite the ban, Peace TV has reached 200 million viewers. NOOR TV UK (''Noor'' meaning ‘light’ in Arabic) is an Islamic television channel founded by the Islamic Sufi scholar Muhammad Alauddin Siddiqui. Pir Alauddin Siddiqui founded the channel in 2006. Dawat-e-Islami () is a Sunni Islamic organization based in Pakistan. It has several Islamic educational institutions around the world. PTV Home HD is a Pakistani free-to-air television channel owned by the Pakistan Television Corporation. It also broadcast as a Terrestrial television. History PTV Home started broadcasting on 26 November 1964 in West Pakistan and on 25 December 1964 in East Pakistan (the current Bangladesh). The broadcasts were limited to Lahore and Dacca at first (the Dhaka station would later become a part of Bangladesh Television upon Bangladesh's independence in 1971), before extending to Rawalpindi and Islamabad in 1965 and Karachi in 1966. PTV Global is a Pakistani basic cable and satellite television channel by Pakistan Television Corporation that is aired nationwide as well as in Europe and the United States.
