''Ready'' is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Srinu Vaitla. Produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under the Sri Sravanthi Movies banner, the film stars Ram Pothineni and Genelia, while Nassar, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Chandra Mohan, Tanikella Bharani, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Jaya Prakash Reddy play other prominent roles. The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. ''Ready'' was a commercial blockbuster and emerged as one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2008. The film received three Nandi Awards, including the Best Popular Feature Film. Srinu Vaitla (born 24 September 1972) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his work in Telugu cinema, particularly in the action comedy genre. He has received several accolades, including five Nandi Awards—three for Nandi Award for Best Screenplay Writer, Best Screenplay Writer—and a Filmfare Awards South, Filmfare Award South for Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu, Best Director – Telugu. Kota Srinivasa Rao (born 10 July 1942) is an Indian character actor known for his work primarily in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre.
