''Read My Lips'' is the fourteenth album by American singer Melba Moore. It was released by Capitol Records on March 22, 1985. This album featured the hit title track and "When You Love Me Like This". Beatrice Melba Hill or Beatrice Melba Smith (sources differ) (born October 29, 1945), known by her stage name Melba Moore, is an American singer and actress. Biography Early life and education Moore was born Beatrice Melba Hill or Beatrice Melba Smith (sources differ) in New York City to Gertrude Melba Smith (1920–1976), who was a singer professionally known as Bonnie Davis and Teddy Hill (1909–1978), a big band leader. Moore grew up in the Harlem section of New York until age 9 when her mother remarried jazz pianist Clement Leroy Moorman and the family relocated to Newark, New Jersey. Keith Diamond (born Keith Vincent Constantine Alexander; March 11, 1950 – January 18, 1997) was an American songwriter and producer who worked with artists such as Donna Summer, Michael Bolton, Sheena Easton, Mick Jagger, Natural Selection and Don Johnson. Barry James Eastmond is an American musician, composer, songwriter, and record producer. Eastmond is an adjunct professor at New York University Steinhardt Performing Arts Department in songwriting and is part of the NYU Summer Songwriting Workshop. Biography Eastmond was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 11, 1959. He is the youngest of three children of Wilfred and Eileen Eastmond.
