''Reactionary'' is the sixth studio album by the band Face to Face. Released in 2000, it was recorded in January 2000. The band ran a promotion with MP3.com where fans could decide which songs ended up on the final version of the album. This was their last release with second guitarist Chad Yaro until '' Laugh Now, Laugh Later'' in 2011. Release ''Reactionary'' was released in June 2000. The band played shows with Saves the Day, Alkaline Trio, and New Found Glory between late August and early October. Face To Face (punk Band)
Face to Face is a punk rock band from Victorville, California, formed in 1991 by frontman Trever Keith, bassist Matt Riddle and drummer Rob Kurth. The band rose to fame with their 1995 album '' Big Choice'', featuring the radio hit " Disconnected" which received heavy rotation on KROQ radio in Los Angeles and appeared in the movies ''Tank Girl (film), Tank Girl'' and ''National Lampoon's Senior Trip''. Face to Face officially split up in September 2004, allowing the band members time to focus on other projects. During that time all the band members played in a number of post-Face to Face projects including Legion of Doom (mash up group), Legion of Doom, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, The Offspring and Saves the Day. Ignorance Is Bliss (Face To Face Album)
''Ignorance Is Bliss'' is the fifth studio album by the punk rock band Face to Face. The album was released in 1999, and was a musical and lyrical departure from the pop punk or skate punk influenced music found on previous albums and EPs. Though an 'EconoLive 2' tour was done in promotion of the album, the band does not currently play any of the songs from the album while touring. Trever Keith flatly refused to play anything from this album on their minitour, according to an interview video on their official MySpace page. In 2012, the band had a change of heart and decided to go on tour and perform the entire album acoustically. This album's song "The Devil You Know (God Is a Man)" is featured in the ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' first soundtrack album. The album was reissued in 2012 on Keith's own label, Antagonist Records, with the songs from ''So Why Aren't You Happy?'' EP as bonus tracks. ''How to Ruin Everything'' is the seventh studio album by the punk rock band Face to Face, released in 2002 (see 2002 in music). As of the release date, ''How to Ruin Everything'' was Face to Face's only album since their 1992 debut '' Don't Turn Away'' without Chad Yaro on guitar. The band remained as a three-piece, marking the first time in over a decade that Face to Face had recorded and played live as a trio. Background and production Guitarist Chad Yaro left the band in 2000; frontman Trevor Keith said Yaro had spent a few years between focusing on the band, and his committing to his family. ''Ox-Fanzine'' is a monthly punk zine from Solingen, Germany, founded in 1988. It is edited by Joachim Hiller and has had many contributors. Besides its focus on punk subculture, it also covers similar genres, reviews of comics, books and films, and has included serial novels by authors such as Klaus N. Frick. By 2019, ''Ox'' had a circulation of 10,000 copies. History ''Ox-Fanzine'' was founded in 1988 by Joachim Hiller and Biggi Häußler in Heidenheim an der Brenz (Southern Germany). Its first issue was published in January 1989. The zine was named after the cat of Häußler, which appeared on the first cover. Alkaline Trio is an American punk rock band from Chicago. The band's current members are Matt Skiba (guitar, vocals), Dan Andriano (bass, vocals), and Atom Willard (drums). Founded in late 1996 by Skiba, bassist Rob Doran, and drummer Glenn Porter, Alkaline Trio released its debut single, "Sundials (song), Sundials", in 1997. Following its release, Doran departed from the band and was replaced by Andriano, who occupied the role of co-lead vocalist alongside Skiba. New Found Glory (formerly A New Found Glory) is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Coral Springs, Florida, in 1997. The band currently consists of Jordan Pundik (lead vocals), Ian Grushka (bass), Chad Gilbert (guitar, backing vocals), and Cyrus Bolooki (drums). H2O is an American hardcore punk band formed in New York City in 1994. History Formation and the Epitaph years (1994–2000) While touring as a roadie for Sick of It All, Toby Morse would sometimes sing with the band during encores. In late 1994 Morse decided to start his own band and formed H2O on the Lower East Side of Manhattan with Rusty Pistachio and Eric Rice. The band included his brother, Todd Morse, and Todd Friend, both formerly members of Outcrowd, who had released the albums ''New Music Solution'' (1988), ''Weathered'' (1992) and ''Healer'' (1994). The band toured relentlessly through most of 1995 and 1996, opening up for almost every hardcore band that hit the east coast, including an opening slot on a Rancid bill, at the Roseland Ballroom, opening for Quicksand on Long Island and a summer 1995 European Tour opening for Sick of It All and CIV.
