''Reaction Hero'' is a remix double-CD release, sourced from and reinterpreting original tracks on Little Nobody's preceding album ''Action Hero'' (2000). It features new mixes from Little Nobody, as well as from international producers Si Begg, Tal (Sub Rosa), Tobias Schmidt ( Tresor), Vocoderman, Brixton, Magnet Toy, and Yamaoka . Remix Album
A remix album is an album consisting of remixes or rerecorded versions of an artist's earlier released material. The first act who employed the format was American singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson (''Aerial Pandemonium Ballet'', 1971). As of 2007, the best-selling remix album of all time is Michael Jackson's '' Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix'' (1997). Tresor Records
Tresor (German for safe or vault) is an underground techno nightclub in Berlin and a record label. History The club was founded in March 1991 in the vaults of the former department store Wertheim at Leipziger Strasse 126-128 in Mitte, the central part of East Berlin, next to the Potsdamer Platz. The history of the club goes back to 1988 when the electronic music label Interfisch opened the '' Ufo Club'' in Berlin. Ufo was the original centre of Berlin house and techno, but due to financial problems that club closed in 1990. After Ufo closed, Interfisch's head, Dimitri Hegemann, and some investors in the club found the new space in East Berlin. This was advantageous timing, as it was only a few months before Germany unified. The vaults under the Wertheim department store proved to be the perfect location for a club, and Tresor quickly became the place to be in Berlin. Nicole Skeltys
Nicole Skeltys is an Australian composer. From 1993 to 2003 she was part of ''B(if)tek'', an electronica and dance act. Skeltys also released electronic music under the name ''Artificial'' during this period and was a member of Clan Analogue. In 2002, she was the writer for the webcomic ''Pigeon Coup.'' She co-composed the soundtrack for the first season of Lonely Planet TV series ''Lonely Planet Six Degrees''. In 2004, Skeltys expanded her musical repertoire beyond pure electronica . She established a Melbourne-based band ''Dust'', consisting of vocals, keyboards, guitar, bass and drums, and which has been described as a "mixture of country twang, melancholy folk and urban scrawl, all with psychedelic overtones". Pnau
Pnau ( ) is an Australian dance music trio originating from Sydney. The trio, a duo before 2016, consists of the musicians Nick Littlemore (vocals, production), Peter Mayes (guitar, production) and Sam Littlemore (production), with the latter joining in 2016. Pnau has achieved multiple successes with their award-winning 1999 first album '' Sambanova'' and the widely acclaimed 2007 release '' Pnau''. Pnau is also recognised for a heavily publicised apprenticeship under the musician Elton John, who signed the duo after listening to the ''Pnau'' album. Si Begg
Si Begg (born 1972) is an English electronic dance music DJ, musician and record producer. His recording career began in 1993 and he has used a number of different pseudonyms and band names, and released music in different styles on several record labels. He has also recorded music for short films, television advertisements and video games and has performed sound design work for television channels including the BBC, Channel 4 and MTV. Most recently he has provided the soundtrack for the hit Netflix sitcom '' Lovesick''.
