Razzaq Mahar
Razaque Mahar ( Sindhi:رزاق مهر, Urdu: رزاق مہر) was a Pakistani short story writer, playwright and columnist of Sindhi Language from Sindh, Pakistan. Early life Razzaq Mahar was born to Ranjho Khan Mahar on 20 July 1954 in Larkana city of Larkana District Sindh. Career Razaq Mahar started creating short stories from 1974. His first published short story was ''Krishna Hathi Je Agyaan''. He was inspired by renowned writer Amar Jaleel. His book of short stories ''Sukoon Kithay Ahey'' is appeared. His TV plays were televised from Pakistan Television Corporation Karachi Center which were produced by producer Muhammad Bux Samejo. His drama serials ''Jiyapo'', ''Wichhotiyon'' and ''Paatal'' became popular. He wrote over 10 solo plays as well. Sindhi ( ; or , ) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by more than 30 million people in the Pakistani province of Sindh, where it has official status, as well as by 1.7 million people in India, where it is a Scheduled languages of India, scheduled language without state-level official status. Sindhi is primarily written in the Perso-Arabic script in Pakistan, while in India, both the Perso-Arabic script and Devanagari are used. Larkana (; ) is a city located in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It is the 15th largest city of Pakistan by population. It is home to the Indus Valley civilization site Mohenjo-daro. The historic Indus River flows in east and south of the city. The city is located within Larkana District. Larkana District
Larkana District ( Sindhi: لاڙڪاڻو ضلعو; ) is a district of the Sindh province of Pakistan. Its largest city is Larkana, which sits on the banks of the Indus River. It is the home district of the politically influential Bhutto family. Other towns in the district include Ratodero, Dokri, Bakrani, and Naodero. In 2005, the Government of Pakistan under Pervez Musharraf bifurcated the district, forming a new district called Qamber and Shahdadkot, with the two towns of Qambar Khan and Shahdadkot. Amar Jaleel
Kazi Abdul Jaleel ( Sindhi: '' قاضي عبدالجليل''; born 1936 in Rohri), popularly known as Amar Jaleel, is a Sindhi fiction writer and a columnist whose columns appear in various Sindhi, Urdu and English-language dailies of Pakistan. He has authored 20 books, and received awards including Pride of Performance, the highest literary award in Pakistan, and Akhal Bharat Sindhi Sahat Sabha National Award (India). Early life Jaleel started writing stories when he was 10 years old. He played for his NJV School and also featured briefly in first class cricket as a wicketkeeper-batsman.
